Tweed hats, my Favourite, a Jeep Renegade, early morning walks, tiny cobbled streets, the Yorkshire Moors, fish & chips with scraps, -11°C real feel, a cosy house, wooden piers, family time, fire alarms, teaching a 'Norn Iron' woman how to pronounce a Greek name, the 199 steps, apple bonbons, a 'black-is-the-new-red' coat, seagulls, Heartbeat country, seeing how fudge is made, a Christmas wonderland in February and more importantly...more fish & chips. I've had worse half terms!
*My Favourite has a great eye for a photograph - all credit to him!*

An early start, a picnic blanket, a DSLR and an action camera, the North Coast, burgers for breakfast, The Red Arrows, two-seasons-in-one-day weather, an Irish Wolfhound in a coat, the Vulcan's last flight, a trip to the Donut Tree and a visit from this little cutie... another great Saturday in Northern Ireland.
Family, having 'the tourist' look, lovely ships, flags, burgers, noodles, funny photos, Dutch pancakes, chocolate strawberries, smoothies, a load of great music from Samson and the Delilahs (our amazing wedding band, for those of you who have been asking - check them out!), finding friends, dancing Joe, fireworks, a late night walk, 'busking' under the bridge and a trip to McD's...all in a great day out.
A lovely Saturday with some of my favourites, and my English favourites too! And some of Aaron's shots from the day It's been a long few years, but we finally got there.
Thanks to the lovely Cathy Dempster (http://www.cathydempster.com/) for the studio shoot and the craic. Going to miss this lot (and the rest who are missing!) Ever look at old photos and wonder what they would have looked like if taken today?
This photo is of my Grandparents on their wedding day, back in the mid 1900s. While I don't know what colours they wore, I think this suits them well. Isn't it amazing that we can take a trip back in time, decades on, with a little bit of technology? |
